Our History
- Est. 1976 -
We started modestly, funded by a passionate group of investors. Among them was a Texas Tech horticulturist, a man convinced West Texas could produce quality wine grapes.
It wasn’t easy persuading local farmers to invest in vineyards, but after we built our original winemaking facility outside Lubbock in 1976, vineyards began to dot the Texas High Plains.
Events History
The Llano Estacado Winery Event Center has been up and running since 2015. Our space is unique for Lubbock due to the variance of locations for ceremonies and the ability to utilize our Tasting Room.

We can accommodate up to 200 people for several different types of events.

We help celebrate; weddings, rehearsal dinners, engagements, fundraisers, birthdays, Christmas parties and many more occasions.
